EVSE Tester

I've made an EVSE Tester that I use on my TucsonEV-SE's to make sure that they work. It shows that the duty cycle, volts and amps are correct. Here it shows 246vac (the line voltage at my place, pretty good), duty cycle of 33.7%, 20.22 A and a 1000 Hz signal.

There is a J1772 Inlet on the left side and an EV cord with a J1772 Plug on it so that I can plug it into a J1772 EV.

A rotary knob selects state A, B, C and D of the J1772 Specs. I've tried it on many EVSE's and the results of D (venting request) are all over the place.

EVSE Tester

As you can see it even has the Diode test, which is supposed to stop the EVSE from working, well in some of the EVSE's it doesn't and the wires still stay hot.
